Contract Event Admin Assistant (3 - 6 months)

**We are currently only opening contract positions starting from Jan 2020 onwards**

I enjoy manipulating data into sensible information for others to review
I am comfortable answering and making calls

I'm interested. What will I do on a daily basis...
Collate event registrant details in Microsoft Excel for report generation
Email and/or call suppliers to request for quotations
Answer call enquiries regarding events managed by the company
Contact part-time event crew to confirm their engagement
Data-entry collation of post-event feedback forms
Receive and check deliveries sent to the office
Edit template documents and print them with instructions from the managers

Occasionally, you may asked to:
Assist the team outside the office, at event venues with administrative tasks (e.g. Registration, fee collection etc.). You will be remunerated with travel reimbursements for these occasions in the event it falls outside your contracted work hours.

This is a unique position. Who is it for?

#1 - You just finished your diploma/degree with some future plans to further your studies, but not immediately, and you want to gain some work experience and money

#2 - You are interested in events management but not sure how it works behind-the-scenes on a daily basis and would like to try it out before committing to the industry full time

#3 - Looking for a career change but need the money to tide over times

Do I qualify?

You will need solid proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Powerpoint skills
You have excellent written and oral communication skills
You have a service-oriented attitude
You hold minimum diploma qualifications
You must be a Singapore citizen
It will be advantageous if you have experience in any office-bound job
You must be able to commit a minimum of 3 months
